I have not posted here for a while but I thought I was doing ok in the database situation. But now something has gone horribly wrong and I don't know how to fix it. I am in desperate need of your help!!!!!!!!!!!!
The problem is this. I have been using MS Access 2000 (i think) at work. My boss recently bought me a Pen Drive so I can do some work at home. All it is that I have to do is Data entry into a form. However when I came to entering the data into the form I was receiving this message. Unknown function 'Date' validation expression or default values on Job Details..
I have the same office application on my work computer as I do on my home one which is MS Office XP as I thought this was something to do with the error I am receiving. However I don't know what to do about this. I have not done anything different on my home computer than on my work computer!!
Please has anyone got an idea as to what the hell is going on with it?? Have I done something wrong??? Have I ruined the database?? Is it going to do this at work now aswell??
As you can see this is really doing my head in not to mention that I have got to finish 17 pages of data entry by tommorow. I have tried to find the answer by searching online and did come up with something about REFERENCES? but I have no idea what to do about them. I tried opening a module going to TOOLS and then REFERENCES and unselecting any that had MISSING in front of them. When I tried that another error message popped up saying that it could not find it or something at this time it was time to cook dinner for my daughter and I left it at that. Please help me with this and if you do come up with a solution I would appreciate it if you could try and explain it in easier terms than what I found online regarding this subject.
