Hi,

I am trying to figure out how to tell Macro tools builder to grab, the "RecordId" of the record that i clicked on, so that i can validate it, and then open form with that id in edit mode.

Been googling that for past 3 hours and nothing.

Don't know what version of Windows or Access you are using.

It would be good if you included this as part of your profile. Go to the Control Panel.

Your Posts should have similar Info on the left as mine has.

To answer your question, treat the Control containing the ID the same as you would treat a Command Button. Just use the Double Click event.
