Hi there,

I have recently created an Access database which is used to record patient data. Within my Access database, I have created an 'Outcomes dashboard' where users should be able to view how their patients have scored on measures across their appointments in clustered column chart. The problem I have is that as more data points are added, the columns become so small that it is difficult to visualise the data. Does anyone have any advice on how I can overcome this issue, or have any ideas for alternative ways to visualise data in Access - perhaps by integrating Excel graphs into Access somehow? I do want to keep the graph as a column graph as opposed to another graph type.

The same would apply to Excel graphs surely?
Perhaps consider a date range?, week, month, quarter etc?

Looks like Access is not properly scaling the columns. See if there is an option to rotate the dates so they take up less horizontal space.

use the same data set in Excel and see how the chart looks for comparison.
