I have been trying to get my copy of Windows 2000 professional to validate on the microsoft web site. My computer passes everything but allowing microsoft ActiveX Control to validate my computer. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on if I need to set something different on my computer. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

 Do you mean you are blocking ActiveX controls ? Check the setting on your browser for IE under tools > internet options > security scroll down till you get to the ActiveX settings and set them like this:

Automatic prompting - enable
Binary script - enable
Download signed controls - enable
Download unsigned controls - prompt
Initialize and script controls not matked as safe - prompt
Run ActiveX contols - enable
Script ActiveX controls - enable

If you then visit the site ActiveX will be enbled but if the control is unsigned (unlikely as it is a Microsoft site) you will get prompted to accept the control.
