    Hi Have a problem with the Is null statement/criteria in access 2007. If i put the Is null criteria in, it returns 1 row (there are alot more blanks) If i return all the records and filter for blanks, it returns 200 rows. What could the problem be?

    yes it's wrong to do that.....blah blah blah but if u were to do it... As Hi tech coach said... Append query works. Then create a macro that runs the append query... and your check box will run the macro. HTH

    I have the same problem. What i'm thinking of doing is creating a query to update Table 2 from Table 1, then on my form have a submit button that when pressed, enters all the into into Table 1 and runs the query that updates Table2. Unless anyone has a better/easier idea?

    thanks :) i'll tell you what the logic (if u can call it that) is behind this. i've created this db and everything is automated, so in 3 clicks it imports the new files, rund the query's and exports the files. i need to hand this over to a user to do so i don't have to run it everyweek...
