I really appreciate all of your help. The photos are kept small on purpose. The code window has four references checked: Visual Basic for Applications, Microsoft Access 12.0 Object Library, OLE Automation, Microsoft Visual Basic for Application Extendability. Nothing else is checked.

I don't know. I just installed the product from the Office 2007 disk.

Unfortunately, that doesn't work either. I find it amazing that Access doesn't routinely display a photo (jpeg, photoshop, whatever).

There are only about 400 photos. I put them into the dB (rather than linking). In my further surfing I noted that when Access doesn't recognize a file type (such as Photoshop), it puts Packet in the cell.

The actual photos are in another C: folder. The data type is OLE object. I have been entering the photos by right clicking in the field box, clicking insert object, then create from file, which I point to.
