Problem sorted Sorry for the panic. I've sorted the problem by re-installing an older version of msjet40.dll. Please note that if your service pack is loaded on directory, the dll is updated from here as well as the dllcache. Thanks

Wildcard search can be either side - "*" & [Enter Location] & "*"

Using the query design screen, in the criteria box within the 'Description' field, type *FIRE*. This is a wildcard.

Just one last point of interest: when replacing the msjet40.dll file, remember to first update the version hidden in the protected dllcache directory otherwise the replacement version continues to be overwritten.

I have been happily linking to a MySQL database via ODBC for a while but all of a sudden, Access 2003 is crashing whenever I try to see the actual MySQL database. No message given. It just gives the Microsoft Error window and closes down the MDB. ODBC tests succesfull. Any ideas?

DoCmd.OutputTo.. does not provide option to add filter criteria to report. Its not a problem if I create 50 different versions of the report for each filter value that I want in order to create each separate snapshot file.

Result It prints a report for each ID in my practice table but if I set my printer to PDF, it writes it to the same PDF file each time. If I could get a separate PDF for each report needed for each practice id, then this would be ok. Ideally, I want a separate report for each practice in...
