Please, I need help (1 Viewer)

Hi, I work in retail and trying to organize sales records. I've set up a customer db, but upon entering data am getting a "can not accept null number" or something to that effect error message. Obviously I've done something wrong.

I suggest that you start a new thread in the general section. As this is in the introduce yourself many will not view it.

Write down and post the specific error and be descriptive on when it happens. It sounds as though you likely have a required field that you didn't put data in when filling out the form.

I am using Access 2010. I have used Lotus Approach for many years and am now at long last trying to teach myself how to use Access.
I am trying to write an expression that allows me to calculate the age of stock on a daily basis.
I have tried:

Age: (Date() - ([Date in Stock])

and a variety of other ways.

If anyone can help I will be very, very grateful!!
