Greetings,
When trying to run an update query that pulls information from a master database (let's call it SIDPERS... because that's what it's called) and updates only about 10 fields of another db which is on a Share Point 2010 website (call it AVDB, because that is also what that one is called xD )
I receive an error that states " Could not lock table "; currently in use by user '(unknown)' on machine '(unknown)'. "
Both SIDPERS and AVDB function fine, I can update AVDB on the SP site and manipulate it just fine in Access 2010.
SIDPERS belongs to someone else, so I try not to mess with it much, however I am able to query SIDPERS in different ways.
There's probably a lot I'm not telling you because either I don't know it's relevant or I don't know the answer.
