Click the Win logo in bottom-left(formally known as START), then All Programs and look for a folder that says startup. Double-click the folder (not any files under it), and an explorer window will open. Right-click the white space for a menu and select new-> shortcut. You can type calc in the box and next and it will appear.

As a bonus, open calc up for the first time before you restart your computer and place the window where you want it to appear. Hold down the shift button when you exit out and it will save the location when it comes up again. If you do this to all of the items that you have in your startup folder, you will not have to worry about overlapping windows (to an extent).
