Oracle password!! (1 Viewer)

hi.

I need some help. i used oracle9i. every time, i need to put the password to extract the data.

Question:
1. so is there any code that i can used to automatically insert the password and user name.

2. automatically update the table

That's not usual behavior, AFAIK. Normally, once you've entered a password and validated, Access keeps a connection cached so it is not necessary to re-validate for every session.

How are you connecting to that table? Via code, a bound form, or something? Do you know whether the Oracle database has a MSysConfig table?

this is the first time i used this oracle program. i just extract the table by import it using ms access. hopefully u can help me
