They have the girls in Admin working with two database’s. One is run through Access97 runtime from a .mde database front end.
The second, newer database, is the same in may respects. It’s a mde front end, except its written in Access2K and they would like to use the 2K runtime to operate it.

These are stand alone back ends.

Thing is that if we install the 2K runtime it overrides the 97runtime.
Is there a simple way for us to have both runtimes in place on the one PC?

And no, we can’t upgrade the 97 to 2K.

Thanks for any help

The 97 database is a mde file and the base mdb database is run form a different office and they will not give us a copy so we can upgrade it to 2K.

I know that would be the simple answer but I can't.

Bugger :(
