A couple of really simple queries regarding resizing and basic buttons

Apologies for the simpleness of some of my queries.

1) I am resizing my fields on a form but when I resize one of the fields the rest of the fields resize as well. How do I only resize one of them?

2) I would like to add a button that lets me search for a record. I have added a button and have used the Find Record Macro builder. I have no clue what to do from there though. Is there something I can use to help me or have you any tips I can try please?

1) on the ribbon select Arrange then Remove. This will unlock the layout. Did you create your form using a wizard. If you did, then this is one of the issues. Try building from scratch and then you won't have this issue.

yes i did it from a wizard. I did try to do it from scratch but i added a header image a couple of buttons but all i got in form view was a white screen so thought best to use the wizard. I will watch the video to help me with query 2. Thanks.
