Hi. Maybe you could ask @ironfelix717 how they managed to get the web browser control to work on this other thread.Thanks. Problem is that Web Browser has other issues. And vhung seemed to suggest he got it working?
One of the issues I run into is when opening PDF in Web Browser control in Access form (IE 11), it ALWAYS prompts to Save or Open. And I can't get it to automatically just open the PDF for viewing.
EDIT: I've tried using RegEdit - tried several promising solutions on Web, etc.
It's a matter of system configuration. Unfortunately, I can't specify what you'll need.I downloaded (thanks) and opened a sample PDF. It prompted me first to open or save. I'm guessing it's an IT policy of some sort.
Not sure I'm following 100%. I am able to open PDFs in Web Browser control. It just gives me a silly prompt to open/save every time. I click on open and it works fine. But the prompt is annoying.Hi. Display report in 'Print Preview' mode inside form
This is a stretch... Can I display the a report in a subform control on a main form in 'print preview' mode? I'm trying to display a realistic, document-like , preview of a report. Converting to a .PDF and serving that seems like an unnecessary step and also a headache since Access makes it a...www.access-programmers.co.uk
I hesitated due to IT policy. But I opened it in Notepad just to check it out. No mention of PDFs. I think it addresses how to behave when opening Office files, but not PDFs.have you tried running the .reg file I included? As I stated it works for me in different versions of Windows & Access (32/64-bit) with no prompts
