Access Data In Excel (1 Viewer)

Hi there,

when i copy and paste Access data into Excel, and then want to sum the data it does not "sum up". i have to double click into the data to sort of activate it into life!!!

Help please

That might be because your automatic calculation setting in Excel is turned off. Try turning it on.

In versions earlier than 2007, the options are located in:
tools > options > calculation tab

As an alternative, or temporary fix, you can always press the F9 key to recalculate the entire workbook.
