The next Access Europe meeting will be on Wednesday 5 July 2023 starting at 18:00 UK time (6PM UTC+1) and finishing at about 19:15 (7.15PM)

The start time is equivalent to 19:00 (7PM) in Central Europe and 10AM in Seattle / PST

Please note that the UK is now on Summer Time (UTC+1). For local times, please check https://www.worldtimebuddy.com/

This session will be led by Aleksander Wojtasz from Poland who will demonstrate his very innovative solution to creating interactive Gantt charts for Microsoft Access

Topic outline:

In many database solutions, there is often a need to present data in the form of a Gantt chart.
For example, in the processes of production planning, team task management, hotel room reservations etc.

Tasks to be performed are shown on the vertical axis, and time intervals on the horizontal axis.
The width of the horizontal bars in the graph shows the duration of each activity.

It is also convenient to edit this data interactively on the chart, as this allows you to handle possible collisions and manage the overload of certain resources etc.

For more details, see: https://accessusergroups.org/europe/event/access-europe-2023-07-05/ or https://isladogs.co.uk/aeu-17/

The meeting will again be held on Zoom. When the time comes, you can connect using: Join Zoom Meeting.
I hope you will join us for what should be a very interesting session.

As always, the session will be recorded and the video uploaded to YouTube after the event

Also, early notice that on Wed 2 Aug, we will have Juanjo Luna (MVP) who is based in Austria and runs the Access Espana User Group.
Juanjo will lead a presentation titled An Access Developer Guide to creating applications in Blazor

Outstanding work. Thank you.

Thanks are due to Aleksander.
It really is an impressive piece of work and excellently explained despite English not being his first language

I really hope it gets the large number of views it deserves

P.S. Good luck with your own presentation for DAAUG tonight. Too late for me unfortunately
