Hi All,

I'm nothing more than a experinced user on access and I need some help.

I've been asked to create a database for work which I have done so and it is all working fine.

My problems is I have a Vaule list look up box on one of my forms with the vaules of Green Amber, Red and Risk closed. What i want to do is change the back ground colour to match whatever option is choosen. For example if I choose red from my list I want the form to be red and if my next item as the vaule green I want the form to be green.

This is not really a major problem but it is getting to me  as I think there must be a simply way of telling access colour the form X when the vaule here is Y.

Cheers for any help

Georgina

Use the conditional formatting option - if you click on your field in the form design view and then format / conditional formatting you are able to change the background colour and font of the field.

Took me ages to work this out, so very pleased to be able to pass this on!

Thanks

Georgina
