Is there a way of getting rid of the navigation button that Access 2000 automatically puts on forms in the form view?

Hi, if I understand what you want correctly, do the following..

  • open up the form properties
  • under the Format tab there is an option Record Selector (which is the bar down the side)
  • and Navigation Buttons, which is the record navigation buttons, with the little arrows and stuff on them
  • change them to yes or no accordingly

Hope that helps,

G

Yeah I think you have understood what I am trying to do, which is get rid of the navigation bar that comes up automatically at the bottom of the form which allows to go to the nex record or the previous one etc.

I looked on the format tab of the properties but I couldnt see anything that says record selector or navigation buttons!

Thanks for your help :)

ummm....

it is under the format tab.. its "Record Selectors" and "Navigation Buttons"...
if you cant find them make sure you checkl that your not under the properties of an object on the form..

other than that im not sure.. unless you've got a screwed version of access or your form is messed... :P

Hope I could help..

Thanks, I've done it!

I was looking in the properties of the detail of my form! Doh!

Thanks again :)
