I've been using Access longer than I can count. Excuse me, I'll go write a program to calculate it...
Beep beep, bop, bloop
It was... in 1998 when I was writing classic asp programs on top of Access.
At some point we upgraded to SQL Server, but I've always loved Access as a way to drop a quick front end on top of SQL server to get at data.
Moving forward to today, I have found myself working in the data group for a Healthcare company with a strict IT department and Access has become incredibly relevant again, due to its portability (security with PHI) and our access to Access (IT has the SQL servers so locked down).
I've found myself on this forum more and more lately and it's about time I join the community.
I hope you're all well. I was going to give you a silly link to look at, but the bots are telling me it is not allowed since I'm N00B. I'll c u when I'm 1337 here.
