If you are in the Portland, Oregon (United States) area, and are looking for Access development work, let me know. The job I just started is looking for several developers to work on a project that looks to be at least 4-6 months, or longer.

I realize that the location will eliminate about 99.9% of the people on the forum (sorry about that - their requirement, not mine, that the people be local). Also, I would not have normally posted this, but they asked me to at least ask, so I am doing that. I don't expect much, if any, response as I don't think we have that many users in the Portland, Oregon area (I know of a few).

So, thanks for putting up with this post (and I'm sure we'll get the "fun" responses as well). :D

Is this on-site, full-time during the contract?

Yes, that is the intent. We currently have

1. Me - starting full-time on it on Monday, August 6th
2. 1 developer, with other clients, part-time as time allows (very little time available)
3. 1 developer, with other clients, part-time as time allows (a little more time available than developer #2).

The project manager wants to have some people working full-time on this since the project has not moved along as quickly as it needs to and the customer is getting anxious to get their product.

According to Mapquest, it's a mere 9 hour commute for me, so I'm in! :p

Still hoping to get up there for a visit though. Wife had a little medical issue which threw our initial plans out the window (she's fine now).

That would allow for a 6 hour day (of course you could never sleep :D)

That's too bad, hopefully you'll get to reschedule

(she's fine now).
That's even better - glad to hear that!
