Recently, a person who had evidently used a gun to commit a crime, is having the gun enhancement charges dropped. Yet, Biden on numerous occasions has endlessly repeated on the need to end "gun violence". Biden purposely avoids mentioning that guns to not commit crimes. Biden, as the expression goes, "is full of it". The article below is just one example, but it points to the fact that the Democrats suffer from extreme cognitive dissonance. They claim there is problem but refuse to address that problem. Exactly how does Biden propose to end his claimed pandemic of "gun violence" if those using guns are not arrested based on their use of a gun? I suppose Biden's solution is to arrest the gun, not the individual.
Hernandez initially faced a life sentence without the possibility of parole and faced several enhancements, including one for his gang affiliation and another for committing murder during an armed robbery, the report said.

But those enhancements were dropped thanks to the rollbacks by Gascón, who took office in December 2020, law enforcement sources told Fox News.

“This s–t looking real good. Now we got a new DA in LA … so they’re going to drop a gang of, um, like my gun enhancement, my gang enhancement,” says Hernandez in the jailhouse call. (emphasis added).

The video below is a representative sample of one of Biden's anti-gun tirades. The video clip was recorded on April 8, 2021. Time for the gratuitous statement, which is that a gun does not commit the crime, it is the individual holding the gun who is committing the crime. Want to end phantom "gun violence", put those who commit a crime when using a gun in jail. Don't make law abiding citizens the subject of draconian legislation or (unconstitutional) executive orders.

The hypocrisy of it all is mind boggling. How can the general public not see it? I would put any person who even carries a gun during the commission of a crime in jail for 10 years minimum without parole whether the gun is fired or not. Then the rest of the sentence is tacked onto that. How is this not hard? Instead, they forgive the criminal using the gun but want to take guns away from honest citizens!!!

If you want criminals to stop using guns, make it painful to even carry an unregistered weapon.

A good discussion on the left's continued not-stop attempts to place blame on the "object" and avoid discussing the responsibility of the individual. Gutfeld's monologue points begin at the approximate 2 minute mark. At the approximate 4 minute mark, the destruction of the nuclear family and the absence of fathers in the household. A nice graphic at the approximate 6 minute mark. Gutfeld makes a good analogy on why the media is "blind" as to why this violence is occurring. Paraphrased: "it's like a vampire looking into the mirror and failing to see his own reflection". Sexton, at the approximate 13 minute market also makes the observation that the proposed gun laws will never work as the laws would have a disparate impact on the minority community. Left wing persecutors won't enforce prosecuting gun violation by those in the minority community since it would negate the theme of "social justice" being promoted by the left. Consequently, the proposed gun legislation will simply be another round of virtue signalling actions that accomplish nothing.

As an editorial aside, it has been mentioned that we already have existing laws concerning guns, so why do we need new laws? Simply put, this is for the optics of politicians claiming that they have done something, even though these actions are unnecessary. And as already expressed, many existing laws are not being purposely enforced for political reasons, such as "social justice".

You guys make an excellent point. If they passed more gun control laws the only result is that they would never enforce them against black people because of the privilege that exists where we are supposed to be more forgiving or whatever because somehow evenly applied rules are inherently unfair as long as it is true that a certain race of people violates them at five times the rate everyone else does.

mind-bogglingly stupid, I know.
