I want to create a database that will do following tasks:
I want to create a database that will do following tasks:
- Import emails
- Append in temp table with dump ID (dump ID contains folder where the mail was stored in)
- Scan the subject of the mail (find customer & ticket ID)
- Scan the body of the email looking for keywords : DOES NOT WORK !
- Assign the other items to REJECTED (by doing update query)
- Assign the record to a user dependent of the user qualifications (language, type of question;; )
- Track the response date (service level)
- Automate all mails OUT using word merge automatically
Reporting :
Overdue email to assigned agent
Dashboard with total in and total out (easy)
I will start creating the database structure now and think really good about the exact flow this must follow.
But the question I have at this moment is :
Is it feasable using Access creating an emailtreatment system?
How automate the mailmerge in Access & Word ?
What to do with the massive amount of KB's of the Body of the email?
Are there a few samples that have similar functionalities ?
