Call for thoughts about Access to Web

I have no idea why the conversation went into a VBA. And the interaction with the OS, files, Excel, etc.

Because that IS what people DO with VBA. OS, files, excel, etc. Those are the things that you will find people's VBA doing - hence, they would expect all of it to be converted.

You'll be waiting a long time to get a browser-only based application that is granted the security privileges to do all of that, that kind of thinking was outlawed by MS a long time ago.

For the record: User jampy requested that his account be removed. I have banned it in a way that could be reactivated on request, but since he asked for it, I granted his request. The thread isn't closed, but jampy will no longer be able to reply.

I will try to not speculate too much on reasons for his request, but I know he did not get a warm welcome here once he revealed his subject matter.

For sure the Access Events are way more different than on the Web framework

If working with Asp.net(VB or C#), there are similarities between Access events and Web framework events.

Angular is more of a front end tool, one will need knowledge of a backend language for web also.
