Hi Folks,

This one has got me utterly baffled, I will truly appreciate your help.

I have a combobox with the following specs.

Row Source Type = Value List
RowSource = 1;test1;2;test2;3;test3;4;test4;5;test5;6;test6;7;test7;8;test8;9;test9;10;test10;11;test11;12;test12
ColumnCount = 2
ColumnWidths = "0cm;8cm"
Bound Column = 1

For some reason unknown to me, although the combobox does drop down when entered, the values are not visible until selected, then the selected item is visible in the combobox, but still isn't visible in the drop-down list.

What is going on here???

Attached please find a (code-less) example.

EDIT:
I'm using Access 2010

If it helps you, I opened it with ac2010 and it seems to work as one would expect. Reinstall Access???

I was hoping it wouldn't come to that...

What happens if you go to FILE > ACCESS OPTIONS and then to Current Database and then UNCHECK the Use Windows Themed Controls on Forms checkbox?

I tried both of your suggestions, neither one worked.

Did you try the sample you posted and did it exhibit the issue?

Yes to both questions.

I don't have Office 2010 sp1 installed, so it may be a update related issue, although I haven't seen similar behavior reported in Access 2010. Will try updating (ran in to some difficulty) and post back.

Access currently up to date and yet combobox values are invisible.

As by RuralGuy, it works okay by me.
What if you create a new combo box in a new form?

Same thing, all combobox values are invisible.
