Concurrent Synchronisation???

Hi,

I've created a main centrally stored database with several replicas.

Those working in the office still have replicas and so everyone works on their own copy.

There are also several external inspectors who have laptops with a replica also sourced on their laptop.

Every day the inspectors dial in and synchronise with the Main Database on the server.

At the moment when an inspector dials in the phone line is busy and so it is impossible for two people to synchronise at the same time. Which up till now has been fine. However if two people try and synchronise together (office and inspector which is not such a problem as office knows when the phone line is being used) then the whole thing throws an almighty wobbly and dies:(

They are now going to Broadband and so have the facility to all dial in at once

How can I stop more than one person from synchronising at the same time?

Its a very small company and I don't think they would be too keen on spending large sums on something like the developers toolpak :(

Oh and its Access 2000 they are using.

Thanks very much.

Graham:)
