I get crazy with an error which is not MY ERROR at all.

I copied a form from one database to another.

In this form is a control named "Invoicedate".
After changing a few other controls and adding new fields from a table I debugged the Project and suddenly I get an error "method or Name not recognized on the field "Invoicedate".

I never touched or changed it.

I compact&repaird, decompiled the database, I copied all forms, queries, etc. to a NEW database.
I closed Access few times, restarted the PC.
Still the same.

All of a sudden I cannot use this control-Name in VBA.
I even deleted the control from the form, used it again with another Name.

In the "Old" database it works without any Problem.

control Name autocorrection is set off!

Any suggestions how I can solve this Problem.

Thanks a lot!

It sounds as if something else is referencing the control.
Do you have a field called the same?

Can you upload a DB to demonstrate the problem?

I found the reason why it behaves like this:

not the marked Control was missing or incorrect, but another one, which Comes in a later part of the code.
Why this control is marke only MS knows!!
Anyway, it is absolutely missleading!
