ControlTip Text Problem (1 Viewer)

I've seen some older threads with this problem, but no real solution. I have placed text in the controltip property of a button. However, when the mouse hovers over the button, nothing happens. I've tried bringing the control to the front and that has no effect.

Any ideas?

What version of Access are you using? What other controls are around the CommandButton? Have you tried just putting a command button on a new form and add ControlTipText to see if it is your copy of Access?

I'm using access 2003. The form has about 4 other buttons and a list box. I just tried the new form, new button thing and got the same result.

Any chance you have applied SP3 for Office 2003 and not applied the HotFix yet?

Just applied the HotFix...no luck

How about a Repair Install of Access?

I'm sure you have done this but make sure you have rebooted your computer.

There's no such thing as a stupid question. I applied the hotfix and restarted my CPU as rural guy suggested and what do you know. It works.
