Is this specifically all in Excel?

You have posted in a board 'Microsoft Access Discussion > Modules & VBA' and don't mention Excel in your post!

Perhaps the mods can move this to the Excel board if Access isn't involved.

Wouldn't you need to re-calculate LR2 before each paste?

Rather than copy/paste, use transferspreadsheet or a sql query as suggested here
Edit: just realised this is copy/paste from one excel file to another, so my suggestion may not be relevant
