Corrupt Database

Pear shaped database

Hi there got a major problem


Have a database used by multi users which seems to have gone tits up

When trying to open it get a message saying file can not be opened file already in use, however there is no LDb file in the directory

Yesterday was getting the problem saying database needed repair, again when trying to repair would be told file already in use.

Zipped a copy of the database to a different directory and tried to open again, was told file needed repair, this time it lets me repair but hangs about halfway through.

Tried to import all data etc into a new blank database again stopped by the file already in use message.

Any way of retrieving the data from this database please

Ok hopefully sorted now found a link in another message for services run by someone conected to this site i believe www.access-programmers.co.uk,

they seem to be able to salvage it so i will leave this link here for anyone else who may have similar problems
