Here is the FE.
The backend would not work for me as it had your folder structure, and when I tried to relink the tables, it i was asking for every one, one by one.
So I deleted the linked tables and relinked with Import.
Then I renamed Switchboard Items to Switchboard Items Local.
That allowed me to rename Switchboard Items 1 to Switchboard Items

Then the code marrys up to the correct table.

Most of the top menu options want passwords, but reports etc appears to work.

This is with Access 2007.

Compare the tables to make sure I did not delete anything inadvertently and relink or do the same as I did to get back your BE tables.

Edit: If all those cable tables have the same structure (and they appear to do so) , this DB could be simplified a hell of a lot.?

The first picture above where it is circled in highlighter that says OBS you should be able to click that drop down, unfortunately it does not work. Any idea why? if you log in to the Data base editor using SB then use 'locked' > edit manhole data > the find ID box does not work although the drop down has data

Well you write code to action whatever your business process is for that control?
If you are not able to do that (and it appears to me that would likely be the case?), then I would get an Access developer in to do it for you?

If this was all working before, then something has gone very wrong. You could do more harm than good, if you do not have the experience/knowledge to correct it.

This has gone from a simple switchboard problem to so much more

I'd post a new thread here asking if anyone's was prepared to take this on and what would they charge, if you cannot find anyone locally? Who knows what elses is not working? This is not a simple task as I see it?

I agree with Gasman there are numerous problems with the main one being the use of Lookup Fields in tables.
