DB Window has disapeared and f11 and holding shift will not bypass....HELP!

I have built a database and have hidden the DB Window at start up.
Knowing that I can get at it via f11 or holding down the shift key at start.
while I was working on the programming my keyboard on the laptop had a key combination that locked the number pad on the keyboard it took several attempts to unlock it as it was not playing nice.
Anyway I think something happened to my database because I now can not get at the DB window.
holding shift at start cause the whole db to not open.
the f11 key make the screen flicker as if it is going to change to the DB window but it dosent.
I even reset the toolbar to have the db icon present and it does the same thing as the f11 key.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Create a new database and import all of your objects into the new db.

Use File > Get External Data > Import

Have you tried compact and repair?

I have used repair and it said it was successful but still cant access the DB window.

Have you tried Window > Unhide

This may sound really stupid but have you tried scolling down. I have been fooled by this before. What happens is sometimes the DB window Will go way off screen and you will have to scroll to see it.

I was able to create a new db and inport as Andy suggested.
and things seem to be good again.
