Dup Query (1 Viewer)

Is there a way to create a query which would display only the first occurrence of duplicates entries based on a uniqueID, but would include a count of how many occurrences there are?

I am using MS Access 2013.

use the query wizard to create Find duplicates query, Q1.
but 1st is releative on how you sort.
once you have that query, build another query that uses Q1 to pull the smallest, or greatest value.
