I have a database that I have set up the evaluations form with an Email button that pulls the data based off the evaluation ID and puts it into a report format. it is set an event on click
RunMenuCommand
command SaveRecord
EMailDatabaseObject
Object Type Report
Object Name Evaluation
Output Format PDF Format (*.pdf)
(I do not have the destinations prefilled)
the subject is the the same as the Object name.
edit message Yes
CloseWindow
Object Type Report
Object Name Evaluation
Save Prompt
CloseWindow
Object Type Form
Object name EvaluationF
Save Yes
This function is working well with my split database.
I am trying to set up access for others to use the FE through our web based information program.
I have it set as a link. The database opens ok and information updates to the table but when...half of the company tries to send the email, Access asks us to enter our CallPilot password and locks up Outlook. the other half it works fine for.
Also if we have those people who have issues go directly to the FE location, instead of the webased link, they can send emails fine.
one individual gets the login message but if she clicks on the [X] she is able to send the email.. however is she goes straight to the FE location she still gets the error.
I am not a computer person and am at my whitts end on this.
any ideas?
