[Example] Computer Class

Hey Mile, As a newly crowned modetator

It's not much different: I get to delete, move, edit, merge, and close threads, ban people, and see all your IP addresses. Das ist alles!

has there been any thought given to a seperate forum for code examples and downloads as you are developing here.

Take a virtual walk down this path for a discussion on new forums. Jon's wary about a forum dedicated to downloadable examples but I don't see why there can't be a tutorials and FAQ forum.

That's a fine design there, Mile. I am looking through your Modules to get a better understanding of creating Objects (all of my friends who've been doing this longer SWEAR that OOPs programming is the only way to go, but I just don't see the benefit; they all say that they said the same thing before they actually started doing it). What exactly is Major and Minor? Also, unrelated, I see that you have a method to determining Runtime or not; what is the learning curve on going from the standard version to the Runtime? I seem to remember reading that you need to have some knowledge on creating/packaging your own DLLs which I guess goes back to my inexperience creating Classes. Either way, seems a fine investment as you don't have to pay for Access software/licenses.

It's the major and minor version number of Windows.

I have absolutely no idea as I've never seen RunTime.

I should really comment my code when I upload examples.

I know I am bringing this thread back from the dead, but it looks like it could be useful to me.

Does anyone know if this will show all users logged into the database with all their info.

Or will this only show my details? for example:

I am logged into my database and 3 other users are also logged in from different computers..

Will I be able to see their details as well? Or just my own computer details?
