Excel QR code (1 Viewer)

Hello everyone
I would like to know if it is possible to transport info inside of a QR code to a excel spreadsheet when said code is scanned
For example if the QR code belonged to a production piece, and inside the QR Code there was information like its model,production date, the type of piece it is ,its cavities and so on and so forth.. would i be able to get a hold of this info as import it into specific cells and comboBoxes inside of spreadsheet in excel?
I apologize if my question is not very specific,confusing or hard to understand,thank you for reading!
