Export to excel converts to unicode chars

I have a function in MS Access which exports a regular data query to an Excel format. The data mostly transfers fine, with the exception of a field with Hebrew alphabet which convert to unicode characters no matter what I try.
Any ideas to get round this?

Try to use CopyFromRecordset method.
