I'm a total rookie at using Access, and I apologize in advance for asking such a simple question.

When I view my database in Form view all the fields are visible. However when I view it in Datasheet view only some of the fields are visible. Please help!

If you can help me out I will give you the dvd of your choice from www.justpushplay.com

Thanks,
Jack

Jack,

There could be a couple of reasons.
Do you have the form view set as dialog or the Scroll Bars property set to Neither? If so this will only show the columns(fields) in the width of the datasheet view.

If not rightclick within the datasheet view in the grey area and select UnHide Columns from the menu, which a box pops up with all of your fields with checkboxes next to each field, just check the ones you want.

Hope this helps

If you're a total rookie and haven't changed any of the default settings on the form, first thing to do is open the form in datasheet view and look at the bottom of the window for a scroll bar.

p.s. Welcome to the forum...you'll find most everyone is very nice and helpful, and there is no need to offer compensation.

:D

Thanks for the input. So far no luck. I have an 800# if anyone would care to call and explain a fix to this simpleton.

Thanks.

Jack,

Why not post a the database in a zip file, so that we can help.

No not at all.

Just attach the file, I think the limit is 100KB.

Still no dice...is the database 5 KB or 5 MB? 5 MB is too large. If you don't mind taking advice from an Idjit, you can PM me your number and I'll try to help.

Jack,

It doesn't appear to have been attached.

When replying select the browse button where it says Attach File, then select the zip file you want to attach, if the size is too big it will come up with an error message saying that the file is too big.

Hope this helps
