I'm new to access and am having problems creating forms. When I design a large form (one with many fields) using the form wizard, it will not display in form view (the screen is just blank). I'm only able to see these forms in design view. This problem doesn't seem to come up with smaller forms, only big ones.

Please let me know why this is happening. Is there a limit to the size of a form, or to the number of fields a form can contain? What I can do about this issue?

when you say big, how many fields do you have in your form ? ... are you sure that your data is normalised in order that you really need that all those fields. If your answer is still yes, then you may consider using a tab control in your form, so that your fields will be split on different tabs.

same problem

I'm actually having the same problem with a DB I've been working on for several weeks. It contains several tabs and was working fine until it inexplicably started showing up blank in form view. No tabs, no fields, nothing at all.

Very strange, could there be some property I accidentally disabled??

oops

figured out my problem, my record source query was incorrect and didn't come up with any results.

Wouldn't have expected that to make a form show up blank.
