Graphs

I am trying to create a graph based upon data from a table, however when i create the graph it forces me to sum the data if a date field is involved on the axis. I do not need to sum data, I need to create a timeline that show the results of each record in the table.
Any suggestions?

a timeline? a timeline is not a graph. are you trying to create a bar graph or something for each record in the table? If you are, it is probably better to either use another program or to want something else. Could u possibly do this another way?

Actually I am creating a graph based upon a timeline of information which includes dates, time and the data I want to graph by either line or bar. It works. What I found out is that for reasons unbeknown to me, I must enter the case Id number twice before the appropriate graph info can be accessed. I have allowed those savvy users to create their own graphs by exporting the necessary fields to excel, however for the majority of my customers, preformatted will work best.
