Happy Birthday Stewart, I know you don't visit as much now but I learnt a lot from you in your Milo days.

You changed to SJMcAbney as a new start to a more serious approach to life, or something like that, does this mean that you have seen sense and are going to join the rest of us frivolous types on the forum. :D

Will you be giving out more of your knowledge?

Happy Birthday - What are you doing these days. Wasn't you poking around with PHP, etc at one time?

I know. And then my job changed and I was never near Access again.

Will you be giving out more of your knowledge?
I hope to. But the problem is I've forgotten loads. So, hopefully with a new db project after a couple of years it will all come back to me.

Working primarily with Crystal Reports. Excel sometimes. In my spare time the occasional bit of PHP as I work (slowly) on a website. And, of course, my book review blog which has been going really well since I started it last year.

Hey Mile,
I'm a frequent reader of your and other reviews on that booklit site . You guys must be doing an awfull lot of reading. I just wondered is this a paid activity ?

Nb. Paul Verhaeghen is Belgium and not Dutch.

Others? It's just me. ;)

No, it's not a paid activity. But it has its own rewards in other ways in that it's been quoted in a national newspaper a few times, I get offered free books from publishers, usually in advance of their publication. The one I'm reading just now isn't out until June.

I know. But he writes in Dutch. Perhaps I should clarify that.

As I came across other names like jem, John Self, etc. I figured that there were other reviewers.
Ah, they are commenting on the reviews. Although they do have their own book review blogs too.
