My hubby has that Weber. A Father's Day gift from me a couple years back. Last Father's Day he got a Traiger smoker. He now has four grills. To those members who celebrate our holiday and to those who just want to take a second to appreciate the good in our lives, Happy Thanksgiving!
My granddaughter hosted for the first time. She managed to get everything hot at the same time which is pretty amazing for someone with zero experience in serving a large meal. Everything was fabulous. Even the cat fell asleep after OD'ing on Turkey.
We had lots to give thanks for this year so we did. Hope you all had a great time with your families.
White Collar is coming back! I actually spent two days on their set and met Matt Bomer, Tim DeKay, and Marsha Thomassan, plus guest star Treat Williams! We decided to keep it very small, didn't travel anywhere nor did we have anyone over because they are all too far away. A lot of my family got together in Wisconsin but I've just taken too many trips recently and I'm so sick of traveling I couldn't take it. We had some good turkey and the typical sides and I got in a few episodes of White Collar which I'm almost finished with sadly.
We have so much to be thankful though for, my son is only 22 and is already a few months away from his Masters in engineering, My daughter has her degree but is still figuring out what she really wants to do, they have zero student debt and I am so proud of them,, and we are all healthy and together 26 years and counting and that's what's important to me.
That's awesome, I was happy when treat was starring in some of those episodes I've always thought he was a good person. How did that come to be? The USA network used to have fan forums. I was a member of the White Collar forum. One of our members had contacts in the entertainment field and for four years, a group of us traveled to NY and we're invited to Silvercup Studios East where it was filmed. I took the trip one year. Matt, Tim, and Marsha are fantastic. Treat decided to greet us when we were at the outdoor filming.
