Received my stamp catalogue today from the US Postal Service. No cheer here. With Halloween, Thanksgiving, Hanukah, and Christmas coming-up there were virtually no stamps to provide a warm fuzzy feeling of "cheer" for the Christmas season. Totally boring and devoid of any theme. Where are the artists?

Yes, there are some stamps that have artistic value, but these could be in any catalogue. One would think that this holiday orientated catalogue would contain a variety of stamps focusing on Halloween, Thanksgiving, Hanukah, and Christmas.

The official 2024 White House Christmas ornament was boring. I'm even amazed that they had the word "Christmas" printed on the advertisement. Was that an accidental oversight?

For several years now we have had a "war" on Christmas. Does the lack of a Christmas (religious) theme in this catalogue reflect that?:unsure::unsure:

Yep. The wreath is the only thing Christmas
And even then wreaths are only Christmassy in passing - I associate them with funerals! :)

I'll try to remember to make a 12/25 post wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and we can all exchange glad tidings and good cheer, or I'll add to it if someone already did , long live Christmas because forever lives Christ! ⛪🎄
