Yea, trump broke the internet like breitbart claims.

the media has show virtually no interest in verifying Harris' claim that she ever worked at McDonald's.
because no one cares except maga and the one with dementia.

Yea, trump broke the internet like breitbart claims.
because no one cares except maga and the one with dementia.
Yet, overlooked is the Harris "dirty laundry". There are claims that Harris, despite asserting to be an aggressive law abiding prosecutor, refused to prosecute pedophiles. Seems that Harris also married a man who allegedly is a misogynist and knocked up a woman who was hired as a nanny. This must mean that Harris supports pedophilia and misogyny. These allegations, besides others, demonstrate that Harris makes poor decisions and would be unfit to be president.
A recently exposed claim is that Harris, like Biden, is a plagiarist.
WASHINGTON — Vice President Kamala Harris is facing allegations of plagiarism after numerous passages from the Democratic presidential nominee’s 2009 book “Smart on Crime” were discovered to closely resemble — or perfectly match — wording from other sources.

Since my post on Vance and McDonalds, these stories have emerged:
"Sen. JD Vance said Monday that VP Kamala Harris is not facing any mainstream media scrutiny over her previous claim that she worked at McDonald's in college."
The media should be condemning Harris for lying.

You can't point that at one candidate without some balance:

It's an important issue, obviously.

The fact that these people are accusing him of a ‘stage-managed’ thing… of course, the president has to have security because there have been two attempts on his life in the last eight weeks. He can't just walk into a McDonald's and sign a W-9 and actually go on the payroll. That's just not how this works, but I see no evidence that the mcdonalds wasn't real, the customers weren't real people eating food, or that the food wasn't real.

you're right - it's not a big deal, except politically, it's a good move on his part to do that. it points out the weird little lies that harris/biden often tell, well Biden was more famous for it, he would make up entire stories that turned out to be totally false - especially the one of him being arrested and civil rights protesting.

I worked at Burger King...guess I should announce my candidacy too!
I worked at a Hardees in Wisconsin when I was 15. my first 'real' job, although I can assure you there is nothing whatsoever UN-real about the backbreaking work of baling or unloading Hay at age 12 and 13 either!

I feel terrible that my kids didn't get this type of experience. They are the worse for it, a bit, but they have made up for it as best as they can in other ways and through our strong encouragement - but boy, there's nothing like hard work as a youngster to make you feel responsible for yourself

Did that too...we had a dairy farm and that was how I spent my summer "vacation". I think my brother and I were the only kids who hated summer. Summer just meant that dad got to "abuse" us all day, every day, for 3 months straight. Once I graduated from HS and joined the Navy, he finally bought a round bailer. I'm still a little salty about that...

Why? That seems to be your calling, getting into the gutter, to dig-up what you perceive to be Trump's "dirty laundry". No need for me to duplicate that effort. Moreover, being a publicity seeking "clown" is far superior to being a fraudulent, dishonest, lying person (Harris) pandering for votes from the gullible. Harris avoids disclosing her policy positions. She also pushes racism, misogyny, and class warfare. Harris, should she be elected will work to become a dictator. She will, if able, have political opponents arrested just like Stalin.

Trump on the things that matter most to americans.

Trump on the things that matter most to americans.
Please notice that Trump never said what the other guys were looking at. The rest of you assumed it was Arnold's p**** because that's what is on YOUR mind. Who're the people with the gutter minds?

I, or none of my friends blame Biden or Harris, so that is not everyone.

Pat,once again you do not answer the question asked. Once again I ask, who pays the tarrifs, the exporter, as Trump claims, or does the importer pay then pass that cost on to us, the consumers. I know for certain that it is the latter. Just answer that one question, who pays the tarrif? No more, no less.
I don't think you can answer the question, because that would be an admission that Trump is wrong on this one issue.
How about you just admit that it is a matter of perspective on who pays the tariffs?

Similar to the minimum wage in California on restaurant workers, experts opinions vary quite widely as to who is ultimately paying that whether directly or indirectly.

@jpl458 is posting a narrow misleading question concerning "who pays the tariffs" that is designed to elicit only one answer, the consumer. What @jpl458 is purposely avoiding is that the Trump administration is planning to use tariffs as a negotiating tool to encourage leveling the trading balance between the US and China and to encourage manufacturing to return to the US. Returning manufacturing to the US would also increase manufacturing employment in the US.

As an additional note concerning China, China (in many cases) is not charging a "fair" (free-market) price for many of products it sells in the US.

Europe has high tariffs on some products the US attempts to export to Europe. Thereby discouraging free trade between the US and Europe. The Europe case another example of how @jpl458 has not fully considered the tariff issue.

We're told that tariffs will increase prices on consumer goods, but higher corporate taxes won't?

If supply costs for a vendor increase, who pays those cost increases? Well there ISN'T any one-word answer to that. It's open for debate, study, case-by-case, interpretation and opinion - and thus is a total waste of time to debate from the perspective of there being a one-word-answer.

My own brother is a CEO in the restaurant business. When supply or labor costs increase, sometimes they pass them along to the consumer and sometimes they absorb them. So nobody on AWF can tell me he always does one or the other or even a third option, such as narrowing the specific products on which the company makes a profit, or changing suppliers. Hint - the last option mentioned is somewhat relevant here.

At least one business, TJ Maxx, has said tariffs will help their business considerably.

"Just answer that one question, who pays the tarrif? No more, no less."
I hate to be rude so I won't say what I'm thinking.
