Help on Query with selecting newest date from Records

Hi,

Don't know if anyone can help. I have a database which records survey data. Each location has a unique identifier for which the measurement data is recorded. The direction of measurement at the location is also taken.

From the measurement data some fancy calculation happens and it gives a prediction.

I have written a query to bring up measurement results per location, how it brings up ALL measurement results for that location. I only wish it to show the latest measurement for each direction at that location.

How would I go about doing this?
