Hi y'all! I'm Robin and based in London, UK.
Although reasonably well-versed in most other MS Office programs, I am completely new to Access (I have actively avoided it for many, many years) so please speak to me like a complete beginner.
I have some time on my hands at the moment so I have decided to spend it getting to grips with Access by building up a database of my fossil and geology collections. I'm very much an amateur in both fields, but an enthusiastic one and have built up a reasonable collection over the years. Unfortunately, as my mobility has decreased over the years, I am now mostly unable to go out scrabbling around cliffs and quarries to find new fossils so spend a small fortune on buying them instead!
Until my recent retirement, I worked as a culture change consultant, advising organisations on how to improve the workplace culture and create healthier, more inclusive working environments for all alongside active campaigning for LGBTQ+ and disability rights.
