How do i tell access to allow input for numbers in decimal/less than 1?

Hi,

I have a problem with access that i hope you can solve. Whenever i type a number with a decimal(1.20) or enter a number less than 1, access always rounds up the number and does not allow any decimals. How do i solve this problem? (i already tried configuring the decimal places in the properties box for the field but it doesnt work)

It sounds like the data type/field size of the field in the table is Number and either Integer or Long Integer. Hit F1 while in the data type field for help on more appropriate types.
