Hi all,

I've searched around a little, but I haven't had any luck. I want to know if anybody has done this before. I have a project where the user would like to know if they can add fields to a table, after the development stage, ie. while it's sitting on their desktop, without my intervention.

What I foresee as the biggest problem is the inserting of this new field onto the forms.

I welcome all help

Thank you

You can add fields to the tables but what about updating the queries, forms, reports and code associated with the forms and reports? In my opinion this is not viable.

Thank you, I thought as much.

I was just given a project from a client, and he told me that he saw on another program that there was this option.

I guess I'll just have to work it in to the package somehow that I'll add a record or two.

Thank you once again.
