I have the results from a query that need to be presented on a chart, below are the fields:

Name, Calls, Idle, Available, Lunch, Break, Emails, Meetings, Mangers Discretion

I want to create a Stacked Column with the Names on the x-axis and the other fields representing the stacks on the y-axis.

Is this possible on Access 2000? Or is there a method to automatically export the data to excel to do it?

Yes you can do it, but be sure to set the form size to landscape if you have a lot of records.

Doesnt work

I have selected a new form in design view. Selected the Chart option and when i choose the fields I want for the chart, a pop up appears saying, 'Please select up to 6 fields for this chart'.

How can i overcome this? I have got Access 2000, which doesnt have the PivotChart feature.

If I cant get passed this, can you explain how to export the data to excel automatically and generate a chart??

Sorry I misread your problem. I didn't realize you wanted more than 6 fields. I really can't help you with that.

Sorry,

Michael

I guess you have maybe sorted this by now....but if i understand your problem right....all you need to do is goto the properties window of the chart and edit the sql in the source field. In here you get a design grid (same as in query design) and you can add or remove any fields you want.

Hope this answers the question!
