Issue with MDE and roaming profile

I have and Access MDE attached to a SQL database with multiple users some of which are roaming profiles. The mde is in a local folder on each machine. On 2 of the roaming users when they open the file for the first time on their office machine it works correctly. However once they log off and log in at another location. (with the same setup) they are able to open the first two forms but when they get to the add form they receive an "Open form action was cancelled". after they receive the error they get the message at both workstations.

I would appreciate any suggestions.

that error just means the from couldnt open. it could just mean the underlying query failed. Can they open the dbs window, to try and open the query directly - you will get a more informative message that way.

can you not login using their vpn or login mechanism etc, to try and emulate their experience?
