Question Loading Different Splash Screen (1 Viewer)

Hi Everyone
I wonder if anyone can help me please.

I'm trying to change the opening Access Database Splash screen without much success.

I am still running Access 2003 and from what I can see with a Google search it should be as simple as naming a .BMP image with the same name as the Database and placing it in the same folder as the Database itself. Well I have done this and it still opens just the same as it did before. Any Ideas?

A splash screen is just a form. You don't have to use the "Display Form" option for selecting your startup form, you can use an AutoExec macro.

From that you can decide which form should be opened. More on this here:

I think I may be talking about a different thing.

It's the Microsoft Access Licencing Bmp that loads when the program is opening.

Ah you're talking about the default Splash Screen right?

I think I answered your question indirectly anyway.

Go to Access Options and look for the 'Display Form' option and select what you would like to show when your form opens. That should stop the default Splash Screen from coming up.
